The CRKT M16-02KS Knife, designed by Kentucky knifemaker and innovator Kit Carson, is the latest iteration of the ever popular M16 EDC that features a 3.057″ tanto blade made of 12C27 Sandvik stainless steel, .117″ thick, with a non reflective black oxide finish, a notched thumb rest for secure grip, dual studs that lock up against the frame for superior strength against sideways torque, and the Carson Flipper for ambidextrous one hand opening. The black stainless steel handle, 4.299″ closed, has drilled holes to lessen weight, sturdy frame lock, and a four position steel pocket clip. The M16-02KS Knife has an overall open length of 7.313″, and it weighs 3.7 ounces.
